As you know, Sony will !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! , who will reduce the scale of the business and will focus it on the JDM.

The problem is that my last 3 laptops were Vaios, and as you can read in the article, they will soon become extincted. So, what brand is better combining usability, power and design, as well as Sony did. Toshibas are nice, but the design is a bit common, and Apples runs iOS.

There are a lot that are as nice or nicer than Vaios. What really matters is budget. My new laptop I got for work is a Razer Blade 14 and it's pretty much the best laptop I have had my hands on recently, but it was $2000 not including the upgrades I did after the fact.

Here's a random pic of one:

VAIO Fans here as well, i've been using VAIOs since college.

I think if you want the cool-yet-lightweight but imennsely powerful, go buy Asus Zen. I've been thinking of that Zen for quite a while now..

Or get the VAIO Pro as soon as you can, Now!

You know you can run Windows 7 and probably 8 on an Apple, right?

It's not perfect, but you'd have all the things you're asking about.

With enough work, you could probably turn an Apple laptop into an exclusive Windows machine.

I was thinking about an Alienware, but those things are so thick and sparkly with all those LED's, they need to find a way to keep them futuristic, but in the same time make them have today's idea of futurism, not the 1990's idea of futurism...

I never interested in alienware, somehow i kinda think it's a bit childish.

And if i want to play games i rather build my own PC. I rarely play games on my laptop anyway, so those crazy thin VAIO is all i need in a laptop.

I could probably go to $3000, but for some reason you can only have it in 14" screen size, and then they jump you to 17", for the pro version, I always said that 15 to 16 inch is the ideal screen size.

I prefer 14" if I'm moving it around with me, 17 if it's stationary. Lately with the small systems having such good graphics cards, I just use them on monitors at my office.

Well, yes.

But i think alienware has the same colour scheme like that, only darker.

Sure, but they could offer a little more variety, at least on the non Pro version. A 12" and a 15" would appeal to a larger audience.

It also adds overhead. The vast majority of high end sales are either ultra books 14" or power house gaming books that are 17". It's not a market targeting home users that just feel like paying 300% more for a 15.6" work book. Just being near the $2000 mark or above means your market is very very small.
